Diseases of the Mustache: Malformed Philtrum
This poor gentleman has the hairless area most associated with a malformed philtrum. His cross-eyedness may indicate a history of pugilism or horse-wrestling.
Sadly, you were right, in regards to his crossed eyes, on both counts. After an evening of debauchery at a local den of sin, he sadly thought he could step into the ring with a horse at the local stablery. He was mercilessly tramped, kicked, and bitten. Though the photograph doesn't show the full extent of his wounds, know this - he is missing his left leg.
