His facial hair is not as clean as I would prefer, but interesting nonetheless.

while i prefer just a mustache, the proper beard can enhance a mustache sometimes, don't you think? sort of like the proper accessory to fine outfit?

I must agree, it is indeed a fine outfit.

After a long night at work, one of Santa's elves couldn't care less about their facial appearance.

I must disagree, they are very vain.

LOL

Love this blog! There's a funny saying in Hindi, "mooch nehin to kuch nehin" -- translates to "if you don't have a moustache you don't have anything worth having".

Has the beard crept up to the top of his head? It's a marvelous feat of hairy engineering. :o)

I like this mustache best...and nice bow.

Upon closer inspection I notice it reads 'Pomona Ca' at the bottom. Perhaps this image was taken while Pomona was still yet a wild and untaimed land. Or, most likely, during the annual courting festival.

Why is he wearing my Granny's favorite party dress? (It's the one with the stain on the bustier she just can't get out...alas)

It's not his stache that catches me. It his marvelous hair! Bangin' hair!

His outfit seems almost too dandy for the amount facial hair- although he has obvious spent a good amount of time grooming it. Maybe he has a propensity to over-indulge in frippery.
