Finally, Some Form Of Justice

A reader, anonymous and possibly fearful of reprisal, brought to my attention the sad plight of Victor Joynath De who was fired from his air steward job on Indian Airlines for sporting this fine facespanner:

A Calcutta court has reinstated the fine gentleman to his job, after months of legal wrangling.

The reason cited by the airline? His mustache was unhygienic! Unhygienic? Balderdash!

I urge all my loyal readers to send a letter of protest to Indian Airlines and to boycott their corporation forthwith. How horrible it is to find this level of mustache ignorance and prejudice in the modern world.

Long may Victor Joynath De's mustache reign!

Sweet Jesus, It's beautiful... I wish this man the best of luck. If anything, are you not in need of a new manservant? He would be a fine choice.

jake_l_974,

The new interns are settling in nicely, even if neither can grow anything even approximating a fine mustache. In this matter, I continue to be bitterly disappointed in them, but our Institute is limited financially and, being destitute college students, they work for table-scraps and pocket-change.

Your Loyal Servant,
J

Ah, I understand, thank you for the enlightenment.

I hardly doubt that table scraps would properly fuel the vigor needed to grow such a grand mustache.

in addition to his fine face spanner, i'm happy to see him sporting aviator sunglasses. so many people wear them who have to business doing so -- it's nice to see an actual aviator wearing them for once.

"My moustache is me."

"I never dreamed of trimming it. All the time I worked for the airline, my moustache attracted many adoring eyes inside the plane and on the ground," he said.

Justice has been made!

And they took over 20 years to realize his mustache? Ignorants!
